What it is
People come on our painting holidays to experience a relaxed and enjoyable artistic adventure in this delightful area, blessed with a huge number of beautiful environments that are attractive for artists of all kinds and abilities.
No two visited weeks are the same and return trips will always offer something new. The French Alps in general and the Haute Savoie in particular are just crammed with landscape, vistas, wildlife, detail and architecture that are simply inspiring.
The range of subjects and artistic mediums available are almost infinitesimal. To be able to learn and develop your skill in this stunning, tranquil and relaxing environment takes some beating, starting with tackling the unmatched view from the deck of the chalet.
We have a varied range of internal and external areas where you can develop your paintings and drawings and we will keep out of your space, so you can concentrate and benefit from the tutors input.
There will also be time, if you want, to experience the benefits of the wider area, do some sight seeing and we can look after non-artistic partners as well.
How it works
Following discussion with your group at the outset, we will provide a suitable tutor as an essential part of the success of our holiday (or you can bring your own – who travels free!). As experienced professionals, you can expect to get the expert tuition, input, critique and feedback that you are looking for. We will transport you to stunning and varied locations to challenge your skills, and provide a picnic lunch to sustain you.
We supply chairs and boards but not consumable items (we find that most artists like to use their own tools!).
